| Who knew this can be a pillow? |
I slipped into the hazy realms of semi-sleep
in the Athenaeum
the silent murmurs of its inhabitants
a haunting lullaby
weaving themselves into my imagination
colouring my dreams
in shades of pastel
as Thomas Calculus
gently held my heavy head in his hands.
